Slow down. Breathe. Create something beautiful.

If you're thinking about joining one of my macramé workshops — whether you're coming alone, with a friend, or gathering a group — you're in the right place. I know it can be a little nerve-wracking to try something new, but I promise you're in safe hands. Let me walk you through what to expect at a Tied by Juniper workshop so you can arrive feeling relaxed and excited to create.
A warm welcome
When you arrive, you'll be greeted with a smile and a carefully laid-out space filled with calming energy. I always set up early so there’s time for me to ground myself and make the room feel cosy, calm, and creative. Whether we’re in a café, studio, or tucked away in a countryside spot, the atmosphere is designed to help you switch off from the outside world.

All materials provided
You don’t need to bring a thing — just yourself (and maybe a friend if you fancy making it a shared experience). I provide everything you’ll need: beautifully soft recycled cotton cord, hand-foraged sticks where needed, a selection of colours to choose from, and all the tools required for the project. You’ll also get access to a guide to take home with you in case you want to keep crafting.
Step-by-step guidance

Whether you're a total beginner or have tried a few knots before, I’ll guide you gently through each step. I keep the group size small so I can give everyone time and attention. There’s no rush — we go at a steady pace, and I’m always on hand if you need support. It’s less about perfection, more about presence.
Time to connect (with yourself or others)
My workshops are as much about slowing down and being present as they are about making. You’ll have time to chat, sip a warm drink, and feel the satisfaction of making something with your own hands. Many people tell me they leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and proud of what they’ve created — and that means the world to me.
Looking for something more personal?
If you can’t make one of the scheduled workshops, or you’re dreaming of a more tailored experience, I also offer private workshops. These are perfect for birthdays, team days, hen dos, or simply gathering your favourite people for some slow, creative time together. We’ll work together to create a session that suits your group — whether that’s in your home, at a venue of your choice, or somewhere local I can help arrange. It’s a beautiful way to connect, relax, and share a memorable experience. Just drop me a message if you'd like to chat through the options — I'd love to help you make it happen.

Something beautiful to take home
At the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with a finished piece — whether it’s a wall hanging, a plant hanger, or a seasonal decoration — and hopefully, a deeper connection with yourself too. There's nothing quite like making something from scratch and seeing it take shape knot by knot.
If you’re looking for a way to carve out mindful time for yourself, reconnect with creativity, or just try something new in a kind, welcoming space — I’d love to see you at a workshop soon.
